A Novel, Simple, Frequent Oral Cleaning Method Reduces Damaging Bacteria in the Dental Microbiota
GIFTS is the most perfect method for eliminating oral biofilms
The GIFTS method cleans the entire mouth, including 75% of the oral mucosa and 25% of the teeth, thereby preventing the two areas from contaminating each other and achieving better prevention of oral diseases.
Why choose Tongueclear ?
- From a scientific and medical perspective, oral health care should be based on gentleness, comprehensiveness and science. Tongueclear opposes harsh physical cleaning and excessive chemical cleaning. These behaviors will only create a vicious cycle and lead to oral diseases. All Tongueclear products are developed based on a gentle, comprehensive, and scientific foundation.
- Tongueclear airbag oral cleaner is designed based on the GIFTS oral cleaning method developed by the University of Utah School of Medicine. It is made of baby-grade silicone material and combined with Flexconform technology to achieve 360° removal of oral biofilm without dead ends.
- For the prevention of oral diseases, Tongueclear has developed an oral cleaning gel toothpaste. It contains lysozyme and glycosidase, two naturally occurring proteases found in the human body, combined with the gentlest amino acid surfactants. This makes Tongueclear both safe, natural and highly effective in inhibiting bacteria. Our gel toothpaste combines with the uniquely designed Tongueclear airbag oral cleaner, it can achieve comprehensive cleaning of the entire mouth.
- If you know someone who suffers from oral diseases caused by drinking coffee, milk, or eating sticky foods such as honey and peanut butter, as well as spicy and irritating foods. You will no longer have to worry, Tongueclear provide you with high-quality protection for your oral health.
Biofilms , the source of oral disease
A biofilm is a syntrophic community of microorganisms in which cells stick to each other and often also to a surface. These adherent cells become embedded within a slimy extracellular matrix that is composed of extracellular polymeric substances (EPSs). Because they have a three-dimensional structure and represent a community lifestyle for microorganisms, they have been metaphorically described as "cities for microbes".
In medicine, biofilms are involved in about 65% of bacterial diseases in humans. For example, in the oral cavity, biofilms on the surface of teeth can form plaque, caries and gum infections. Biofilms can also lead to infections after organ transplants (e.g., pacemakers). Biofilm formation by Legionella pneumoniae in air conditioners can lead to Legionnaires' disease. Formation of cystic fibrosis by Pseudomonas aeruginosa (Pseudomonas aeruginosa) in lung infections, tuberculosis, urinary tract infections, respiratory tract infections, and about 25% of kidney stones are also caused by biofilms.
